To All:

I have been in the Real Estate industry since 2005.  I started this business during the beginning of the downturn of the market, so a slack market is pretty much all I have known!

But I really like this business, and my favorite thing about this job is using my knowledge of the market and the process to bring value to the table for my clients.  I like to be involved in a process that has a positive outcome, which in many cases is a new home and location, or a financial goal.

As I have grown as a businessperson, I have developed my own style of doing business.  And one aspect of my business approach is to make sure that you are happy with the amount of value brought to the table, and feel like you got the service that you were looking for.  And my theory is that even if your offer wasn’t accepted, or even if you decided to hold off your property search for another year, you would definitely refer your closest friends and acquaintances because you want the best for them as well.

All this considered, I am a family man first, and a businessman second.  I live in Montpelier with my wife, Emily, and Daughter, Evelyn.  My efforts and service in the field of real estate exist to support my family and I believe this adds to the well rounded offering that I provide my clients, rather than taking away.

Unfiltered Real Estate Offering:

One of my hobbies is brewing beer.  It takes a relatively short amount of time to ferment into alcohol and get rid of the sugars.  But it takes time for the impurities to be taken care of by the aging process.  These impurities are what I refer to as mistakes, gaps in knowledge, misunderstood grey areas, and the like that need to be cleared up do develop the character and quality that is needed.  And of course, if your beverage sits for too long on the shelf, the flavor starts to go sour!  The same holds true amongst the population of realtors.  My real estate flavor pallet adds, as important adjuncts, a group of experts and specialists who stand ready to assist you in the property acquisition/sales and listing process that I know and trust enough to refer to you directly.  I feel that it is my job to be a connoisseur of the professions that interact with the real estate world and that it makes everybody’s job easier in the long run.  So if you decide to work with me in your Central Vermont Property Search, I will do my best to make your experience palatable.

Best Regards,

Ben Thomas
